The problem this exists for
Search for the price of almost any treatment abroad and the results are written by the people selling it. Clinic pages quote their own prices, agencies quote the clinics they are paid to place, and comparison sites are usually lead-generation businesses with a table on the front. None of that is dishonest by itself. It just means nobody in the results has an interest in the number being complete.
This site takes the other position. It collects published prices, records the source and date of each one, and publishes the whole set — the wide ranges, the small sample sizes, and the cases where the answer is that we do not have enough data to say.
Who writes it
A small independent editorial operation, publishing under the site's own masthead rather than a personal byline. Nobody here is a dentist or a doctor, and nothing on this site is clinical advice or written as though it were. The work is collecting prices, publishing them with their provenance, and explaining what the numbers can and cannot tell you. Where a question is clinical, the site says so and points you to someone qualified.
Accountability here rests on the method rather than on a name: every figure is traceable to an archived source you can open yourself, the whole dataset is published, and the build refuses to ship a number that cannot show its provenance. If something does not check out, it can be checked against the source in seconds and corrected.

Where it is today
70 price records across 14 clinics, last verified 2026-09-04. The dataset starts with dental treatment in Turkey — the largest corridor for British and Irish patients — and widens from there. The full collection method is on themethodology page and the dataset itself ispublished and downloadable.
How it is paid for
Display advertising, and nothing else. No lead selling, no clinic payments, no affiliate links, no sponsored placement. That is a deliberate constraint rather than a temporary state — the reasoning is set out under independence.
