Before you choose
On your first visit, all measurement and advertising storage is set to denied. Consent Mode defaults are sent before any Google tag can load, so nothing is stored or read until you accept.
What runs if you accept
- Google Analytics 4 — measures pages viewed and how people arrive, in aggregate, with IP anonymisation. Cookies typically named
_gaand_ga_<id>. - Advertising — where enabled, the ad network may set identifiers to serve and measure advertising. Declining means ads are non-personalised where they are shown at all.
What runs either way
- Local storage, on your device only.
mtc-currencyremembers which currency you asked to see prices in;mtc-consentremembers your answer to the banner so we do not ask again. Neither is sent anywhere. - Cloudflare may set a security cookie to protect the site from abuse. It is strictly necessary and does not track you across sites.
Changing your mind
Clear this site's data in your browser and reload — the banner will appear again and you can choose differently. In most browsers: site settings for this domain, then clear cookies and site data. Withdrawing consent stops future collection; it does not retroactively delete aggregate data already recorded.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We do not load anything before consent regardless of these signals, so a browser sending them is already fully covered by the default-denied position.

The wider picture is in the privacy policy. How the site is funded, and what that does and does not buy, is under independence.
